This book is probably one of the best out there for studying microbiology. Great Mnemonics and charts.
The title for "Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple" should probably be changed to "Microbiology Made Ridiculously Awesome". Finally. The book is a great breakdown of clinical microbiology, and the content makes it ridiculously simple to learn. The organization is great, and there are hilarious comics and acronyms to make it fun and easy to study microbiology. A textbook that helps me study in a fun way. I strongly recommend this book.
This book might be okay for a lower-division microbiology course as a study aid, but it's not appropriate for upper-division microbiology or medical students. I'm not saying it's not effective, but it's simply not enough.
This book has great summarizing tables, but presents the text in an interesting fashion. The language is truly simple, and uses lots of wordplay to help in learning the information. I found the tables very helpful and the text less so.
This book is a good review. Its similiar to the micro cards but in chart and paragraph form. They are good to use together.
